Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and implement efficient production line layouts and assembly station setups.
∎ Oversee installation of jigs, fixtures, tools, and machines as per product requirements.
∎ Optimize line balancing and cycle times to improve workflow and throughput.
∎ Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
∎ Evaluate current processes and lead improvement projects to reduce cost and waste.
∎ Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
∎ Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams during New Product Introduction (NPI).
∎ Conduct pilot runs and assess manufacturability (Design for Manufacturing - DFM).
∎ Ensure new models meet quality, yield, and takt time targets before full-scale production.
∎ Select and manage procurement of jigs, fixtures, and tools.
∎ Monitor and ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
∎ Act as the main technical contact for on-floor production issues.
∎ Perform root cause analysis for defects and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
∎ Maintain strict process documentation and ensure discipline on the shop floor.
∎ Track and report production KPIs such as yield rate, defect rate, efficiency, and downtime.
∎ Support ISO standards and ensure compliance with quality systems like ISO 9001.
∎ Use statistical tools (CPK, PPK, AQL) to maintain process capability and quality targets.
∎ Prepare performance and improvement reports for management decision-making.

∎ Position Overview:
∎ We are seeking a PE Engineer for Smartphone Assembly Factory with strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in electronic product assembly processes, and a drive for continuous improvement.
