Education:
B.Sc. or Diploma in Food Science/Chemistry/Food & Nutrition. For diploma candidates, they must possess relevant experience.

Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure the quality of fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, chicken, and other perishable products at wholesale markets, processing units, vendor premises, and outlets as per Meena Bazar standards.
Monitor and maintain quality standards at CPU, VPU, and outlet operations, including hygiene, storage conditions, and chiller temperature control.
Conduct formalin testing of fish, fruits, and other perishable items to ensure food safety compliance.
Perform regular market surveys and competitor quality assessments in coordination with Audit & Internal Control teams.
Inspect approved product samples and verify quality in line with market standards and departmental guidelines.
Prepare freshness monitoring, quality testing, and inspection reports, and maintain proper QC documentation and records.
Check outlet cleanliness, personnel hygiene, expired/damaged products, and conduct periodic inventory activities.
Support quality assurance activities during Eid and other festive seasons to maintain Meena Bazar quality standards.
Work closely with vendors, suppliers, processing units, and outlets to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the department head.
