∎ Knowledge of structural design and assembly processes is required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and optimize mechanical assembly processes to improve productivity and minimize downtime.
∎ Troubleshoot mechanical issues in assembly lines, particularly SMT, PCB, and final assembly units.
∎ Perform preventive maintenance and checks on mechanical tools, jigs, and fixtures.
∎ Assist in installation, calibration, and repair of assembly equipment and automated systems.
∎ Coordinate with the maintenance team during unplanned equipment breakdowns.
∎ Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and continuous process improvement.
∎ Collect and analyze data on output, defects, and cycle time to recommend improvements.
∎ Prepare and update documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and log sheets.
∎ Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve defects or inconsistencies.
∎ Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) procedures related to mechanical faults.
∎ Ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
∎ Design and support the development of jigs, fixtures, and mechanical aids for streamlined production.
∎ Monitor wear of tools and manage inventory for spare parts and mechanical equipment.
∎ Enforce use of PPE and adherence to safety standards among assembly staff.
∎ Participate in regular safety training, audits, and hazard assessments.

∎ Position Summary:
∎ We are looking for a Process & Mechanical Assistant Engineer for Smartphone Assembly Factory to join our production team. The ideal candidate will support process optimization, troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance in our assembly and manufacturing operations, contributing to product quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
