Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors
• Diploma

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Age 25 to 40 years

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in industrial furniture machine maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or woodworking environment.

• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic skills for electrical, PLC and electronics troubleshooting, ability to read blueprints and hydraulic/electrical schematics.

• Leadership: Experience in team management and the ability to train junior technicians.

• Computer Literacy: Possess basic computer knowledge like Google sheets, Google drive and power point skills in preparing reports and documentation.

Competencies

• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying root causes of breakdowns.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Core Responsibilities

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Develop and execute schedules for inspecting, servicing, and repairing production machinery and facility utilities (compressed air, Transformers, dust extraction, CNC Machine, PLC, ETC).

• Breakdown Response: Promptly troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on machinery, often working under pressure to minimize production delays.

• Equipment Optimization: Install, configure, and align new or existing machines to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.

• Supervision: Assign tasks to maintenance technicians, monitor their work, and provide training.

• Inventory Control: Maintain stock of critical spare parts, electrical and electronic tools; procure necessary items to avoid downtime.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, machine history, and spare parts inventory.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe operation and maintenance.

Typical Machinery Involved

• Woodworking Machinery: CNC routers, edge banders, surface planners, rip saws, drill presses, multiboring, high frequency machines and sanders.

• Support Utilities: Dust collection/extraction systems, air compressors, industrial motors, hydraulic systems.

• Electrical Systems: Panels, motor drives, sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
