Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE from any reputed university.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (DBA)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 24*7 Proactive monitoring/support of Oracle Database/Data warehouse/Business Intelligence/EBS Production environment to ensure smooth business operation.
∎ Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.5 Application Administration.
∎ Oracle Business Intelligence Application/ ETL Process Administration.
∎ Oracle Database 12.1.2 Administration.
∎ MS SQL Server Administration.
∎ Oracle SaaS Cloud Application Administration & Integration Support.
∎ Oracle EBS User/Responsibility Creation/Management.
∎ Oracle EBS Cloning PROD to TEST on demand.
∎ Oracle EBS Database, Application, WebLogic server patching on demand.
∎ Performance Tuning for Application and database server.
∎ Ensure Security and Auditing for all the technology layer.
∎ Troubleshooting problem for web server, form server & concurrent manager.
∎ Linux/ Windows Server Installation & Administration.
∎ Virtualization Technology Administration.
∎ Plan, design and implement various database high availability solutions among RAC, ADG, etc.
∎ RMAN/Data pump Database Backup Recovery.
∎ Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database
∎ Plan and implement backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
∎ Put standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance.
∎ Provide technical support to application development teams. This is usually in the form of a help desk.
∎ Troubleshoot with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
∎ Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
∎ Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of oracle data warehouse is a great plus.
∎ A good knowledge of the operating system(s).
∎ A good knowledge of physical database design.
∎ Ability to perform both Oracle and also operating system performance monitoring and the necessary adjustments.
∎ A good knowledge of Oracle security management.
∎ Sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, systems administrators and other related service providers.
∎ Strong analytical and organizational skills.
∎ Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
