Responsibilities & Context:
To work closely with Team to develop new Innovation, Fashion trend and any special requirement from customer.
To analyze customer requirements for particular fabric development and ensure that fabric quality is achievable in own Textile and can be maintained through development to bulk delivery.
To study and verify the Client-suitable fabrics and manage & supervise fabric development process.
Capable of fabric swatch analysis, especially capable to select yarn & knitting M/C.
Proper clarification of problem & find out the sources of problem & discuss to immediate solution.
To manage & maintain relationship with Client fabric team ensuring that fabric development is met the procedures as per requirement.
To provide fabric technical support to the other concern departments like Product Development, Merchandising team, etc.
Should have experienced of special yarn & fabric development process, need follow up of Yarn Dyeing, All Over Print & Development Fancy Yarn follow up in housed timely.
To keep good relationship with interdepartmental personnel (i.e., Yarn Store, Dyeing & Finishing).
To make record keeping for all Knitting R&D related issue (with Swatch) accordingly Job wise & Season wise.
Any other task assigned by the reporting authority.
