Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor's in Engineering (EEE/ME)/Business/Economics /Law (reputed university). Post-grad (MBA/SCM/LLM) is a plus.

Additional Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years core tendering in EPC/Electromechanical, covering e-GP and offline (national/international).

  • Proven end-to-end submission & documentation preparation as per PPR-2008/CPTU/BPPA

  • Hands-on e-GP uploads and physical submissions (tabbing, seals, courier).

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Pdf tools, designing technical brochures.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tender deadlines under pressure.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with multiple internal departments.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills both in Bangla & English.

GESS Bangladesh seeks a proactive Tender Specialist to lead end-to-end tender execution, with a focus on e-GP and strategic international offline bids. This role demands sharp analytical skills, compliance expertise, and flawless document management to secure high-value contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track daily EGP tenders by ministry/agency; maintain watchlists, alerts, tender calendar, and summary notes.

  • Identify international tender offline opportunities; summarize requirements, risks, and feasibility.

  • Study eligibility (Goods/Works/Services), past experience, financial capacity, delivery timelines; issue Go/No-Go memo with compliance checklist.

  • Build clause-wise compliance matrix per PPR-2008/CPTU/BPPA and client SBD/STD; list required forms, affidavits, authorizations, and evidences.

  • Compile drafts (forms, declarations, OEM authorization, brochures, technical compliance, price schedule templates)

  • Work with Engineering/Procurement to align BOQ analysis and technical schedules; log deviations/clarifications.

  • Raise tasks to Banking for TS/BG/schedule purchases; chase deadlines

  • Prepare e-GP submission packs; assist uploads/validations when assigned; track corrigenda, pre-bid queries, and responses.

  • Maintain tender pipeline (status, risks, owners); publish report.
