Diploma or B.SC. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Technical certifications in Generator Operation/Maintenance will be considered an added advantage.
2–5 years’ practical experience in generator installation, operation, and maintenance.
Hands-on expertise with international engine brands such as Perkins, Cummins, Volvo, Yanmar, Caterpillar, Baudouin or equivalent.
Skills
Strong technical knowledge of engine, alternator, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with control panels, AMF/ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) systems, and load testing.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and respond under emergency or shift conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
Support installation and commissioning of new generator units at client sites.
Demonstrate proficiency in multi-genset/grid paralleling and independently execute on-site synchronization setup, tuning, and safe operation.
Proficient in paralleling multiple gensets and/or grid (live-bus & dead-bus sync
Operate, monitor, and maintain diesel/petrol/gas generators for reliable performance.
Conduct daily inspections, preventive checks, and routine servicing of generator systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
Perform timely servicing, including oil changes, filter cleaning/replacement, coolant checks, and battery inspections.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of generators in compliance with company and industry standards.
Respond promptly to power outages, breakdowns, and emergency situations.
Coordinate with supervisors and external vendors for major repairs or specialized servicing.
