• Technical certifications in Generator Operation/Maintenance will be considered an added advantage.

• 2–5 years’ practical experience in generator installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Hands-on expertise with international engine brands such as Perkins, Cummins, Volvo, Yanmar, Caterpillar, Baudouin or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of engine, alternator, and control systems.

• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

• Familiarity with control panels, AMF/ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) systems, and load testing.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and respond under emergency or shift conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support installation and commissioning of new generator units at client sites.

• Demonstrate proficiency in multi-genset/grid paralleling and independently execute on-site synchronization setup, tuning, and safe operation.

• Proficient in paralleling multiple gensets and/or grid (live-bus & dead-bus sync

• Operate, monitor, and maintain diesel/petrol/gas generators for reliable performance.

• Conduct daily inspections, preventive checks, and routine servicing of generator systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.

• Perform timely servicing, including oil changes, filter cleaning/replacement, coolant checks, and battery inspections.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of generators in compliance with company and industry standards.

• Respond promptly to power outages, breakdowns, and emergency situations.

• Coordinate with supervisors and external vendors for major repairs or specialized servicing.
