Should have 10–12 years of relevant experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing industry.
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems (QMS), SPC, FMEA, CAPA, 8D and other quality tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in Electronics, HVAC, Home Appliance or Consumer Durable manufacturing will be preferred.
Lean Six Sigma and ISO Lead Auditor certification will be considered an added advantage.
MBA will be preferable.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and oversee the overall Quality Management function for Commercial and Residential Air Conditioner products for both Bangladesh and Export markets.
To develop, implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality strategies to achieve organizational quality objectives.
To ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, company quality policies and applicable international standards.
Lead and manage QA, IQC, IPQC, OQC, Supplier Quality and Customer Quality functions to ensure product excellence.
Monitor departmental operations, including manpower planning, budget utilization, cost control, approval authority and overall team performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, warranty claims and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
Lead root cause analysis, CAPA implementation and other quality improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Plan, conduct and coordinate internal, customer and certification audits while ensuring compliance with ISO and other applicable standards.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Service teams to improve product quality, process capability and operational efficiency.
Establish quality KPIs, monitor performance, prepare management reports and present quality performance to senior management.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management as and when required.
Report to DCBO, CBO and Honorable Management.
