A leading international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience, the project is currently in its pre-opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent Officer/ Sr. Officer, Logistics to oversee and coordinate all functions in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders.

Job Purpose:

The Officer/ Sr. Officer, Logistics is responsible for optimizing the entire logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory control and delivery. This role ensures timely, cost-effective and safe movement of goods while maintaining high standards in compliance, documentation and customer service

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the unloading of goods follows the established waiting list and standard procedures overseeing the checking of goods from suppliers.

• Works with suppliers to schedule deliveries, ensures accurate stocktaking data and checks that all validated invoices are received by the warehouse.

• Analyze and report supplier visit data, verifying the accuracy and validity of stock-reporting results and maintaining workplace safety by staying within designated safe areas and using equipment according to company standards.

• Checks the number of packages for each store, locks delivery trucks after loading and handles returned or damaged goods.

• Monitor picker performance, with a focus on picking time, item availability and out-of-stock issues.

• Manages drivers keeps delivery box keys safe, records overtime accurately, and works with other departments for document handovers.

• Make sure delivery vehicles are clean and ready and that safety rules are followed.

• Oversee stock accuracy by matching physical stock with system records and verifying stocktaking reports.

• Supervise and coordinate subordinates in the picking, issuing and dispatching of goods.

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse environment.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
