Experience:
B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized university.
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification will be considered an added advantage.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Sound knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software installation, troubleshooting, and basic networking.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assist non-technical users effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to travel frequently to stores, warehouses, and other business locations.
Job Purpose:
The Officer / Sr. Officer, IT is responsible for supporting the organization's day-to-day IT operations by ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure across stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. The role plays a critical part in supporting retail operations by maintaining business-critical IT systems, including POS, network connectivity, and other store technologies, to ensure uninterrupted business operations. This position provides technical support, assists in system implementation and maintenance, and contributes to the efficient delivery of IT services aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance with the company's information security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networking) for new store, warehouse, and office openings.
Support testing and trial runs of new applications to ensure smooth rollout.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and minor repairs of hardware and software in stores, warehouses, and offices.
Provide on-site and remote support to store, warehouse, and office employees in operating IT systems and applications.
Assist in planning and executing monthly store visits for IT checks and support.
Deliver basic training and guidance to staff on common IT issues and processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational IT issues.
Help maintain data security and confidentiality according to the company's ISMS policies.
