Experience:

Experience with Modern Distribution & Retail Systems in Bangladesh.

Job Purpose:
The Data Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting accurate and timely merchandising data to support informed decision-making and continuous performance improvement within the merchandising division. Also ensures the effective execution of administrative operations and supports system development to meet the operational and analytical needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities :
• Compile and distribute promotional item lists from the Merchandising to categories set by the Buying Coordinator, along with preparing confirmation letters for rebates, B2B agreements, and Grand Opening (GO) participation.
• Analyze and present data on sales achievements, gross margin, verify compliance with Trading Term agreements, and develop new programs based on business process reviews to enhance efficiency.
• Track and report national-level negative margin instances to management with suggested actions.
• Prepare, monitor, and revise drafts of conditional rebates and other claims such as anniversary discounts, Eid discounts, etc. as per the company’s trading term agreements.
• Submit drafts for supervisor review and revise based on applicable provisions and internal regulations.
• Draft agreements between the company and suppliers and verify supplier data related to taxation.
• Ensure promotional selling prices are accurate and price set before promo or similar marketing activities.
• Conduct competitor promotion comparisons, particularly against nearby competitors, and present actionable insights to management for program improvement.
• Coordinate with branches and Merchandising Head Office to address operational issues, provide feedback, and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain summaries for new item support programs and related merchandising data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor and report weekly sales and margin performance to support business decisions.
