Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Communicate with buyers to understand specific requirements and expectations.
∎ Ensure timely follow-ups on buyer feedback and approvals.
∎ Perform swatch analyses and ensure alignment with buyer specifications.
∎ Check designs and verify their feasibility for production.
∎ Monitor fabric quality at various stages of production to meet quality standards.
∎ Plan and book yarn as per production schedules and buyer demands.
∎ Track yarn usage and availability to avoid production delays.
∎ Monitor knitting and finishing production to ensure it meets buyer specifications.
∎ Coordinate with the production team to address and resolve any quality or design issues promptly.
∎ Develop and implement SOPs for knitting and finishing tailored to buyer-specific requirements.
∎ Ensure SOP adherence during production processes.
∎ The R&D Officer of the Lab Department is responsible for ensuring buyer follow-ups, conducting swatch analyses, verifying designs, and maintaining high fabric quality standards. This role involves creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to each buyer, overseeing knitting and finishing parameters, managing yarn booking and follow-ups, and monitoring production activities across all buyers.

∎ Perform swatch analyses and ensure alignment with buyer specifications.
