∎ Experience in Cutting/Sewing/Finishing/GPQ.
∎ Capable of handling a minimum of 5 sewing lines (approximately 150 machines) with efficiency and precision.
∎ Experience in managing production for reputed buyers such as M&S, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, G-Star, S.Oliver, and Express etc.
∎ General knowledge of wash processes including overdyed and tie-dyed products.
∎ Familiarity with printing, embroidery, and other embellishment standards and processes.
∎ Average command of English, with the ability to read, write, and understanding effectively in a professional manner.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform regular in-line inspections to identify defects or deviations from standards during the sewing process.
∎ Conduct thorough checks at the end of the sewing line to ensure finished garments meet quality requirements.
∎ Verify that the sewing quality matches approved samples.
∎ Identify common sewing defects like puckering, skipped stitches, seam slippage, or incorrect stitch density and record and categorize defects for analysis.
∎ Report quality issues to the Sewing Quality Manager or relevant department for immediate corrective action.
∎ Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sewing processes.
∎ Verify that all sewing quality standards meet buyer specifications and contractual obligations.
∎ Assist in analyzing the root causes of defects and suggest corrective actions.
∎ Propose and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring defects.
∎ Provide immediate feedback to operators on identified issues.
∎ Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and quality adherence.
∎ Provide guidance and training to sewing operators /QI on quality standards and techniques to improve sewing quality.
∎ Assist senior quality personnel during internal and external audits.
∎ Document inspection results, defect rates, and corrective actions for tracking and review.
∎ Prepare daily or periodic reports on sewing line quality for review by management.
∎ Suggest improvements in sewing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
∎ Stay updated on new sewing technologies and techniques to improve product quality.
∎ Verify that sewing operations meet workplace safety standards.
∎ Promote sustainability and ethical practices in sewing operations.
