Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Master's Degree from any reputed University preferable in Law, Gender & Development Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Human Rights Studies (Relevant discipline would be an added advantage)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): At least 5 years relevant NGO experience, Confidential data management, Counseling, Decision making, Problem Solving
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reportable to: Education & PSEA Focal Point
∎ This position is mainly responsible to ensure smooth implementation of PSEA policies and reporting of PSEA complaints. This position also needs to develop knowledge and understanding of all staff members on Protection related issues including Child Protection, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Gender Based Violence. He/she will be responsible for strengthening community-based complaint and feedback mechanism

∎ Key Roles & Responsibilities: The person will have to work closely with Unicef PSEA focal person complying with UNICEF PSEA policies. He/ She must ensure smooth mechanism for PSEA reporting according to the established guidelines. It will be a cross sectoral activity so the person might need to work with the collaboration of different clusters alongside education like, PSEA, child protection, gender, health. The person has to attend different meetings as a representative of the organization.

∎ Other key roles & responsibilities are given below.
∎ Capacity development:
∎ Conduct training, orientation on protection issues including Sexual harassment, Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Gender Based Violence, Child protection, Complaint & feedback mechanism for staff, beneficiaries, vendors.
∎ Complete a report of each training event, including List of Participants
∎ Strengthen capacity on investigation procedures of Mukti
∎ Develop compendium of FAQ from trainings and share with responses and links to relevant reference materials.
∎ Review and develop protection related (PSEA, GBV, Child Protection) training manuals, posters and leaflets and develop distribute IEC materials plans.
∎ Coordination:
∎ Participate in Education, PSEA, CPSS, GBV sectors/networks meetings
∎ Coordinate with UNICEF PSEA focal
∎ Share relevant information with Mukti staff members, clusters and networks
∎ Ensure safe and accessible reporting channels on PSEA
∎ Willingness to travel to camp areas.
∎ Investigation:
∎ Respond to any protection related incidents of the project with appropriateness and urgency.
∎ Provide initial PSS support to survivors & refers respective service provider if necessary.
∎ Conduct investigation of the reported incident with utmost confidentiality, once approved by the Supervisor.
∎ Report the investigated incident following the organizational policies.
∎ Follow up on individual protection cases within beneficiaries, staff, vendors and with partner organizations.

∎ Accountability:
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly work plan & execute accordingly.
∎ Undertake regular field visits to conduct interviews with beneficiaries & staff to gather protection related information.
∎ Identify protection issues through Age, Gender, Diversity Mainstreaming ('AGDM') approach, including focus group discussions and individual interviews in a safe environment.
∎ Preparing protection information in an easily understandable format for communities.
∎ Plan, design and implement protection awareness-raising activities for beneficiaries.
∎ Conduct impact monitoring of project activities, in accordance with the organization's policy.
∎ Co-operate and interact with partner organizations, relevant government departments and local authorities, other protection partners on a regular basis.
∎ Accurately and responsibly document information and share with the respective Supervisor.
∎ Prepare documentation of all relevant activities (protection monitoring forms, field trip reports, meeting minutes, work plans, budgets etc.) in accordance with the organization policies.
∎ Perform any other duties as instructed by Supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
