Programme Brief:
BRAC Education Programme (BEP) empowers marginalised children and young people in Bangladesh to access quality learning at every stage of life. To tackle educational inequality driven by poverty and climate change, the programme provides play-based early education, accelerated catch-up classes for school dropouts, and university scholarships. These community-driven models successfully help millions of disadvantaged students recover lost learning and transition back into formal education. By ensuring no child is left behind, BEP helps to break multi-generational cycles of poverty across the country. Ultimately, this fosters a more resilient and equitable society where every young person is equipped with the skills to uplift their community.
