Experience:
Master's/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture, Development Studies, Disaster Management, Social Science, or any relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in livelihood programming, economic empowerment and value chain development, preferably in the development sector
Practical experience in preparing modules, facilitating livelihoods training, community meetings, SHG/VSLA/Apex Body meetings, market linkage sessions, and participatory workshops, and reporting.
Working knowledge of climate-resilient livelihoods, disaster risk reduction, income generation, Graduation model and disability-inclusive development approaches.
Strong understanding of disability rights frameworks, including CRPD, SDGs and national disability laws of Bangladesh
Experience working with persons with disabilities, vulnerable communities, women's groups, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and community-based organizations is highly desirable.
Experience in conducting beneficiary selection, market assessments, livelihood needs assessments, business planning, coaching, and post-distribution monitoring.
Familiarity with the local context of Dacope or Koyra Upazila is an advantage.

Experience with GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion) mainstreaming in programming
Strong leadership, facilitation and people management skills; ability to lead a multidisciplinary project team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex concepts effectively.
Proficient in facilitation, report writing and documentation skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to work independently in a field-based role with limited day-to-day supervision.
Proficient in MS Office tools and other relevant software for project management and reporting; basic experience with M&E data collection is desirable.
Willingness to undertake regular field travel within the assigned unions, Upazilas, including remote/coastal areas, and occasional travel to Khulna city or Dhaka.
Candidate must be willing to relocate to Dacope or Koyra Upazila, Khulna.
A valid motorcycle driving licence will be considered an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Livelihoods Planning & Implementation
Support planning and implementation of climate-resilient livelihood interventions for persons with disabilities, SHGs, and Apex Bodies.
Explore linkage opportunities with market actors to support the agreed livelihoods action plan and its integration into project design.
SHGs, VSLAs and Apex Bodies Support
Facilitate the formation and functioning of Self Help Groups (SHGs), Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) groups, Apex Bodies and facilitate organizing regular/quarterly meetings to review farm/non-farm green production and savings progress.
Lead and facilitate training for VSLA groups on IGA, financial management and record-keeping.
Asset/Cash Transfer & Enterprise Development
Support identification and verification of targeted ultra-poor households and persons with disabilities for productive non-farm asset/cash transfer through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), VSLA groups, and Apex Bodies.
Organize and facilitate training on climate-resilient livelihood options and improved farm/non-farm production and management for selected Persons with Disabilities.
Provide mentoring support to project participants to ensure productive use of assets/cash and sustainability of livelihoods.
Coordination with Community Structures
Coordinate with SHGs, VSLA groups, Apex Bodies, Community Facilitators and Disaster Management Committees (DMCs) to link livelihoods activities with disaster risk management and social protection schemes.
Support linkage between DMCs and SHGs, VSLA, Apex Bodies for inclusive local DRR planning.
MEAL and Reporting
Collect and document data on livelihoods activities, progress and learning in line with the project's MEAL framework.
Prepare field visit reports, monthly progress updates and case studies/success stories for organizational learning and external communication.
Participate in monthly staff coordination meetings, quarterly review meetings and Annual Lessons Learned Workshops.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project participants, ensuring data are disaggregated by sex, age, disability, and other relevant categories.
Support beneficiary identification, registration, verification, and post-distribution monitoring (PDM) of livelihood assistance.
Monitor the progress and quality of livelihood interventions and provide regular feedback to improve programme implementation.
Document case studies, success stories, lessons learned, good practices, photographs, and beneficiary testimonials to support project reporting and knowledge management.
Assist in conducting livelihood assessments, market assessments, monitoring visits, surveys, and other MEAL-related activities as required.
Ensure data quality, completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality in compliance with organizational MEAL, safeguarding, and data protection policies.
Prepare and submit timely field progress reports, activity reports, and monthly updates to the Technical Coordinator/Project Manager.
Contribute to the preparation of donor reports by providing quality field data, evidence, and documentation on project achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
Safeguarding & PSEA
Ensure reasonable accommodation and accessibility for all project participants.
Raise safeguarding concerns through Access Bangladesh's safeguarding reporting mechanism and build community awareness of the Inclusive Complaint Feedback Mechanism (ICFM).
Promote a gender-sensitive, disability-inclusive, and rights-based approach throughout all stages of project implementation.
Comply with and promote safeguarding principles, including the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH), and ensure the dignity, safety, and well-being of all participants.
Promptly report any safeguarding concerns or incidents through the appropriate organizational reporting mechanisms and support appropriate follow-up actions.
