Experience:
Graduates/ Master’s in any discipline preferably in Disaster Management/ Environmental Science/ Social Science/Development Studies, or similar discipline from a reputed university.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in community mobilization, field facilitation, humanitarian response, disaster management, WASH, shelter, livelihood, or development projects.
Experience working with NGOs/INGOs, donor-funded projects, and emergency response programmes will be preferred.
Experience in community engagement, beneficiary coordination, data collection, and field-level project implementation.
Additional Job Requirements:
Knowledge of humanitarian response, disaster management, community development, WASH, shelter, and livelihood interventions.
Understanding of community mobilization, beneficiary selection, cash-based interventions, and field-level project implementation processes.

Disaster Risk Management Programme (DRMP) with an aim to strengthen community resilience through disaster risk reduction and preparedness along with emergency response and recovery actions. DRMP works to strengthen resilience across the most vulnerable communities and provides holistic humanitarian support to the people affected by disasters and crises in Bangladesh.
About the Project: Support for the Flash Flood-Affected People in Chattogram Division, under Disaster Risk Management Programme (DRMP).
Project Duration: Six (6) months
Job Location: Any Upazila within the Chattogram Division
Job Purpose: The Field Facilitator will support the implementation and field-level coordination of project activities in the targeted communities. S/he will facilitate cash-based interventions, shelter, livelihood, and WASH activities through community engagement, mobilization, and regular follow-up. The position will support activity planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation to ensure quality and timely project delivery. S/he will coordinate with community members, local stakeholders, and project teams to address field-level challenges and ensure effective service delivery. The role will contribute to accountable, inclusive, and needs-based emergency response interventions in flood-affected areas.
Job Description:
Support the implementation of project activities at the community level, including cash-based interventions, shelter, livelihood, and WASH activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Facilitate community mobilization, beneficiary identification, awareness sessions, and engagement with affected communities in accordance with project guidelines.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, collect feedback from beneficiaries, and report progress, challenges, and emerging needs to the project team.
Support field-level planning, coordination, and execution of project activities in collaboration with project staff, local stakeholders, and community representatives.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, beneficiary information, attendance sheets, distribution records, and activity reports as required.
Provide support in conducting assessments, surveys, data collection, and verification of project participants to ensure transparency and accountability.
Coordinate with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and facilitate smooth project implementation.
Ensure compliance with BRAC policies, donor requirements, safeguarding principles, and humanitarian standards during all field-level activities
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
