Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and update MIS for the Health and Gender Support project of BRAC in coordination with M & E focal and project team members
∎ Preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly MIS reports, and any special reports as required by the management
∎ Coordinate and cooperate with Upazila/branch Accounts Officers/Accounts Managers for monthly financial reporting
∎ Check bills, vouchers and other supporting documents and records related to expenditures and work with the Upazila Accounts Officers to make necessary adjustments
∎ Check if expenditures are within the approved budget limit and inform project team for necessary financial planning
∎ Ensure that the procurement procedure/policy, fixed assets register and stock register are maintained/updated according to the policy
∎ Ensue accurate calculation and payment of Taxes and VAT against expenditures according to govt. rules
∎ Prepare periodic Financial Monitoring Reports and submit to the project management
∎ Initiate coordination meetings with Upazila Accounts Officers/Managers to share the financial findings
∎ Provide technical assistance to the Upazila Accounts Officers/Managers to ensure that financial documentation and financial management comply with donor’s and BRAC’s internal policies and procedures
∎ Provide support to the external and internal audit processes
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Carry out any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures.
∎ Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Conceptual knowledge on MIS
∎ Tool/format develop for data collection/input
∎ Financial reporting knowledge
∎ Having experience in working with the host community and Rohingya community is a plus
∎ First-hand experience of preparing MIS formats
∎ Tool development using different applications and operative MIS mechanism
∎ Web database management and use of applications for real-time data collection
∎ Firshand experience and skills in budgeting and financial reporting
∎ Experience in procurement process
∎ Skills in using modern technology - MS Office Package (especially Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and data analysis packages, e.g., SPSS, STATA, R and familiar with ICT4D.
∎ Time management, Leadership, Analytical Ability, Multitasking, Facilitation, Communication, Report Writing
∎ Adaptability, Teamwork, Relationship Building & Change Management
