Job Context:
∎ FH Association (a Christian, relief & development organization) wants to fill one (1) Officer- Human Resources (OHR) position and therefore, inviting applications from eligible candidates.
∎ Job Summary: The Officer- Human Resources (OHR) provides invaluable administrative and functional support to the Human Resources team, helping to ensure consistent support of staff in employment-related matters. Primarily focusing on support for recruitment and employment lifecycle processes, the OHR ensures timely completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with FH policy and procedures.

∎ Report to : Manager- HR
∎ Location : Country Office, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support recruitment process for new staff, including preparation of job advertisement and posting, reviewing applications, initial candidate screening and scheduling interviews, etc.;
∎ Conduct background and reference checks, providing feedback to hiring manager(s) and Manager-HR;
∎ Ensure documentation for all recruitment processes is complete;
∎ Compile documentation for new hires, ensuring files are appropriately set up and configured;
∎ Coordinate induction to the organization with appropriate stakeholders and monitor completion of the orientation components;
∎ Secure documentation for enrollment of staff in applicable benefits and administrate benefits procedures for childbirth grants, life insurance enrollments, etc.;
∎ Collaborate closely with Manager-HR to ensure that employee lifecycle processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
∎ Administer and monitor staff leave records, providing non-compliance reports to Manager-HR;
∎ Secure and manage confidentiality of all employment records, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and complete, periodically auditing records for compliance and accuracy; and
∎ Other Duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1-year experience in an HR context.
∎ Direct experience within an NGO/INGO is a plus.
∎ A commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with FH's foundation and beliefs as expressed in The Heartbeat: our Values, Vision, and Purpose;
∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);
∎ High integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics;
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh labor law and NGOAB regulations regarding HR matters;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to travel up to 20% of time per year, to insecure countries or locations.

Salary:
∎ As per organizational pay scale.
