∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Knowledge about Education Policy, National Curriculum, Instructional Strategies, Literacy skills & classroom management techniques. Strong communication and people management skills. Community engagement.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Serve as a focal person for the Let’s Learn to Read (LLR) project and will coordinate the overall implementation of the project.Organize and facilitate monthly capacity-building training for the teachers.
∎ Ensure quality classroom application of Let’s Learn to Read (LLR) strategies through follow-up, mentoring, and facilitating.
∎ S/He will provide additional technical support to the primary school teachers and other stakeholders for the proper implementation of the project.
∎ Provide technical support in reviewing curriculum and organizing instructional materials for training.
∎ Prepare a monthly/quarterly plan and record.
∎ Closely coordinate with the local Upazila Education Office, and primary schools for smooth and successful program implementation.
∎ Communication with local government and local leaders, and Communication with family members, schoolteachers, and like-minded organizations.
∎ Maintain and manage individual goals to ensure objectives are achieved.
∎ Pursue ongoing training in the form of seminars, conferences, and online learning opportunities, and
∎ Manage and maintain all FH policies and procedures and live out the organization's values.
∎ Promote the prevention of sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, trafficking, shaming, bullying, or any type of harm among communities, program participants, team members, and partners.
∎ Facilitate Safeguarding messaging with communities, program participants, team members, and partners to raise awareness and promote the reporting of safeguarding issues through Community System for Accountability and Feedback (C-SAFE) and EthicsPoint.
∎ Act as a reporting avenue for safeguarding issues, and facilitate relevant resources (safety, security, well-being) to survivors in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
∎ A commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with FH’s foundation and beliefs as expressed in The Heartbeat: our Values, Vision, and Purpose.
∎ Demonstrated computer-operating skills, including proficiency in Google platforms, Microsoft Office products, and virtual technologies such as Skype and Zoom.
∎ Ability to sit/stand at a computer for up to 8 hours a day doing repetitive motions on a keyboard.
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
∎ Ability to travel to insecure countries or locations.
