Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will help design and develop highly-scalable, robust services that implements network functions across a wide variety of protocols and industry standards - 3GPP, IEEE, ETSI
∎ You will support deployment and monitoring of network services to cloud platforms with demanding performance and uptime requirements, on public and private clouds
∎ You will support deployment and monitoring of networks services to physical and edge platforms with robust security, reliability and efficiency
∎ Maintaining stringent network security standards across all services is non-negotiable
∎ Be prepared to learn the functionality of existing software, fixing bugs and integrating new features into in-house or open-source stacks, and reverse engineer when needed
∎ Be also ready to develop new features from scratch or from existing prototypes or skeletons
∎ Develop highly maintainable code using modern frameworks, ensure high code quality through test coverage, logging, tracing and documentation
∎ Provide rotational on-call and production support, as necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ BS in Computer Science or Engineering with 4-8 years or MS in Computer Science with 2-5 years of industry experience
∎ Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ACL
∎ Strong network troubleshooting/problem resolutions, protocol analysis, network troubleshooting/problem determination skills with network trace/capture/analysis software
∎ Solid understanding of network and system architecture
∎ Self starter and solution oriented mindset. See challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.
∎ Hands-on with C/C++/Go/Rust or other modern programming languages (more than one)
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
∎ Strong communicator who is self-driven and willing to adapt quickly to the changing landscape of networking and connectivity technologies.
∎ Experience with open-source network software stacks, such as DPDK, OVS, FD.io or LFN
∎ Understanding of Metaverse network requirements - mobile cellular / 5G, fixed / fiber / cable or Wi-Fi 6 / 7
∎ Understanding of Web3 and decentralized connectivity technologies
∎ Experience with cloud providers, AWS, Azure or GCP, especially their network and security services like Route53, VPC, ACL, IAM and DirectConnect
Salary: Tk. 150000 - 250000 (Monthly)
