∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Network Security Design and Implementation;
∎ Design, configure, and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and network segmentation. Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance network security posture;
∎ Develop, implement, and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry regulations and best practices. Monitor policy compliance and recommend improvements as needed;
∎ Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on network infrastructure to identify weaknesses and potential entry points for attackers. Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities;
∎ Respond to and investigate security incidents, including data breaches, malware outbreaks, and unauthorized access. Perform forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents and recommend preventive measures;
∎ Monitor network traffic for signs of anomalous or suspicious activity using security information and event management (SIEM) tools. Analyze logs, traffic patterns, and alerts to identify and mitigate potential threats;
∎ Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees about network security best practices and potential threats. Foster a culture of security consciousness throughout the organization;
∎ Collaborate with IT teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure security measures are integrated effectively. Maintain thorough documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and responses;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Professional certifications such as Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies exam (350-401 ENCOR), Implementing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks exam (300-430 ENWLSI), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security are preferred;
∎ Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security concepts;
∎ Hands-on experience with firewall administration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security technologies;
∎ Hands-on experience or conceptual understanding of NGFW such as Cisco FirePower, Fortinet, Sonicwall etc;
∎ Proficiency in security tools, such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools;
∎ Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) and their implications for network security;
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
∎ Strong communication and teamwork abilities;
