Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and maintain the Network Monitoring Systems.
∎ Fault handling and escalation.
∎ Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution.
∎ Provisioning (IP assignment, core network configuration, DNS setup, monitoring and graphing for colocation, leased lines, customer backup and other customer network services).
∎ Server build and installs, application upgrades, network equipment build and installation. Maintaining hardware serial audits, writing custom monitoring plugins and configuring bespoke graphing.
∎ Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources.
∎ Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration
∎ Tier 3 Support for co-location, customer backup network and ISP services.
∎ Participate in a 24x7 call-out rote if required.
∎ Managing system backups and network security protocols.
∎ Accept calls/Tickets from Customer Care.
∎ Manage Fault ticket till closure.
∎ Diagnosis at primary level.
∎ Coordinate with concerned teams for resolution.
∎ Escalate non repetitive, critical, service affecting faults to L2 fault management team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ More of experience in NOC Engineering is highly preferable.
∎ Extensive experience working as an NOC engineer.
∎ Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures.
∎ Knowledge of server hardware systems including Dell Blade, UCS, and HP systems.
∎ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
∎ Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure.
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills.
