Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage Company’s IT Network Infrastructure and ensure maximum network uptime.
∎ Communicate with Internet and Connectivity Service Provider regarding connectivity issues.
∎ Participate in planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.
∎ Analyze and resolve end user network related problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end user training where required.
∎ Work with IT Support Team to create procedures, documentation and train staff when required.
∎ Manages Network (LAN, Wi-Fi & WAN) design/architecture and monitors Network performance, stability, and activity, making recommendations for additional resources and equipment.
∎ Ensure quality of service, security and availability of the Network System consisting of both active and passive network devices. Ensure business service goals from the network system.
∎ Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network.
∎ B.Sc. in CSE/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent and relevant engineering degree from reputed local or foreign university.
∎ Minimum 6+ years of experience working Data Centre environment as Network Administrator managing Enterprise Network devices.
∎ CCNP Certified on Cisco Switching and Routing will be preferred.
∎ Certification on Enterprise Network Security Appliances (Palo Alto/Sophos/Cisco) would be preferable.
∎ Have strong knowledge on Networking and Data Communication with detailed knowledge on various networking protocols such as VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRRP, GRE Tunnel, IPSEC Tunnel etc.
∎ Hands on experience on Enterprise Grade Switch and Routers (Cisco Catalyst & Nexus Switch) and Next Gen. Firewalls (Cisco FTD, Cisco ASA, Sophos, Palo Alto etc.).
∎ Have hands on working experience with SDN and SDWAN.
∎ Strong written & oral communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language.
∎ Highly positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
∎ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will work in a team managing IT Network Infrastructure and ensure maximum network uptime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our IT Network Infrastructure. You will also be involved in the capacity planning and deployment of the network devices as well as troubleshooting any issues.
∎ Responsibilities:
