Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
∎ Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL
∎ Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
∎ Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
∎ Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
∎ Experience with replication configuration in MySQL
∎ Proficient in Database backup like MEB Backup, mysqldump backup & Restoration.
∎ Proficient in Database migration , upgradation, version upgrade.
∎ Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL
∎ Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
∎ Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler
∎ Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
∎ Upgradation of MySQL Database both inplace and out place.
∎ MySQL Database Auditing.
∎ Experience in MySQL TDE.
∎ Experience in Different replication architecture like Master-Slave/Master-Master/Chain Replication/Group Replication/Galera Cluster.
∎ Familiarity/awareness with other databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB,Oracle, MS-SQL,AWS will be added advantage etc.
