Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities and duties:
∎ Expert knowledge in Commvault backup solution
∎ Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including
∎ Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients
∎ Configuration of backup solution on requested servers
∎ Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual
∎ machines
∎ Performing disaster recovery tests
∎ Having at least basic knowledge of Windows and Unix OS administration
∎ Having at least basic knowledge of Bash, Shell and/or PowerShell scripting
∎ Reporting department KPIs to top management
∎ Representing Backup & Restore team in cross-department projects
∎ Create and update documentation; actively build teams knowledge base
∎ Troubleshooting backup issues related to VMs and flat files
∎ Troubleshooting backup issues related to IBM DB2, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
∎ Perform in line with agreed procedures, SLAs, and customers' expectations
∎ Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law, and managers orders, including labor
∎ regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company,
∎ including company's intellectual property protection.
∎ Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values.
∎ Education and skills:
∎ Bachelor in Computer Science & Engineering or Electrical Engineering
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position (Backup Administrator)
