Experience:

• A degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in automotive repair and maintenance (ASE, IMI, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Workshop Manager - Job Requirements:

• Experience & Expertise:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automotive workshop management or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance (experience with both Japanese and European vehicles preferred).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of technicians and service staff effectively.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in workshop management software and tools.
• Ability to handle inventory control, parts management, and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate with clients to assess vehicle issues, provide repair estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support where necessary.
• Ensure the workshop complies with safety standards and all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels of tools, parts, and supplies, ensuring the workshop is adequately equipped at all times.
• Other Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
