Core Responsibilities:  

• Provide 24-hour supervision and care for resident boys, ensuring their safety and well-being, and ensuring adherence to the hostel's rules and routines.​

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of teachers, staff, and support personnel within the residential setting, ensuring teamwork and high standards of care and education. 

• Implement and supervise each resident's individualized behavior management program and treatment plan, documenting daily progress and challenges.​

• Oversee activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, care of personal possessions, and meal provision/sharing.​

• Facilitate a home-like atmosphere with social, recreational, educational, and extra-curricular activities tailored to the developmental needs of the boys.​

• Serve as a role model and mentor, encouraging appropriate behavior, social and independent living skills, and academic achievement.​

• Ensure order, cleanliness, and maintenance of the hostel premises, guiding boys in caring for their environment.​

• Maintain open communication and collaboration with other staff, teachers, volunteers, doctors, and community members.​

• Monitor medication administration and ensure access to medical care as needed.​

• Provide regular tutoring sessions in mathematics and science subjects, supporting homework completion, test preparation, and concept understanding for boys of various grade levels.

• Incorporate regular lessons and practical demonstrations of ethical behavior, emphasizing honesty, respect, responsibility, and empathy in daily interactions.​

• Model and reinforce everyday greetings, polite conversation, active listening, offering help to others, showing gratitude, and resolving conflicts respectfully.​

• Organize structured sessions that explain community rules, the importance of integrity, and the value of positive contributions to the group.

• Collaborate with religious instructors or local imams to facilitate regular prayers, Islamic values, and the Quran lessons.
