• **Job Requirements for Motor Workshop Dent Repair Mechanic:**
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in automotive dent repair, with expertise in techniques such as paintless dent repair (PDR), panel beating, and bodywork restoration.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using dent repair tools (e.g., pullers, hammers, dollies) and equipment for reshaping vehicle panels, along with knowledge of PDR and other dent repair methods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision to restore vehicle surfaces to their original shape, ensuring no visible damage or imperfections.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess damage accurately, determine the best repair approach, and resolve issues effectively to achieve high-quality results.
• Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to work in various positions and apply force as needed, with the strength to handle heavy tools and materials safely.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety: Awareness of safety procedures for working with heavy tools and sharp metal, ensuring a safe environment for both workers and customers.
• Customer Service Skills: Capable of explaining repair processes and providing realistic expectations to service advisors or customers regarding dent repair outcomes.
• Adaptability and Learning: Willingness to learn new dent repair techniques, tools, and industry developments, staying updated with advancements in auto body repair.
