Responsibilities & Context:
. Team Leadership & Supervision
Direct Management: Lead, supervise, and mentor junior QA/QC inspectors and subcontractors.
Training: Provide continuous training and ensure the team is cross-trained on new inspection requirements.
Scheduling: Prepare and modify look-ahead schedules for all critical, planned, and complex quality activities.
2. Inspections & Quality Assurance
Site Audits: Execute or oversee inspections on materials, heavy equipment, piping, tanks, and structural installations.
Verification: Ensure dimensional accuracy, proper alignment, leveling, and functional completion of components (e.g., pressure vessels).
Testing Oversight: Witness and verify mechanical testing methods, such as hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
Code Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards like ASME, API, AWS, and ANSI depending on the specific facility.
