Responsibilities & Context:
Feed raw plastic pellets into hoppers and check material identification
• Start, stop, and monitor presses to meet cycle times
• Extract and trim, de-gate, or pack finished plastic parts
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks to catch defects (e.g., burns, bubbles)
• Keep the work area safe and clean
• Perform mold changes, calibrating tools, and clamping dies
• Adjust complex machine parameters (temperature, pressure, and injection speed)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot major production and mechanical issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance and clean molds
• Document process parameters and train operators
