Must have minimum 10 year mechanical working experience in foowear,or tannery or handbags industry.



Responsibilities & Context:

Candidates must have over 10 years of equipment maintenance experience in footware factories, leather factories, or handbag factories, and must be thoroughly familiar with all types of specialized bag production machinery.

Machine Maintenance & Electrical Repair: Perform regular preventive maintenance, precision calibration, and electrical/mechanical repairs on all stitching equipment, including Direct-Drive Lockstitch, Computerized Sewing Machines, Double Needle, High-Post (Chariot), Column Stitching, and Arm Stitching machines. Must be proficient in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting servo-motor drive circuits, PLC errors, and sensor failures.

Tooling & Mould Fabrication: Operate CNC Carving/Engraving Machines to design and produce high-precision moulds (folding guides, presser feet, needle plates, and edge guides). Independently manufacture, calibrate, and install all sewing machine moulds/jigs to ensure zero-defect stitching alignment.

Training & Troubleshooting: Conduct hands-on training sessions for operators on correct machine usage, threading, and oiling procedures. Develop a formal "Troubleshooting Decision-Tree" manual for difficult technical issues (e.g., skipped stitches, thread breakage, hook timing errors) and act as the final escalation point for unresolved machine faults.

Equipment Asset Management: Oversee equipment numbering, maintain digital maintenance logs, and ensure all machines have up-to-date calibration labels and safety inspection records.

Strategic Maintenance Planning: Formulate and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize production downtime.

Procurement & Inventory: Forecast, requisition, and manage inventory for wear-and-tear parts (needles, loopers, feed dogs, belts, and circuit boards) and production moulds.

Special Machine Setup: Collaborate with the production department to set, test, and fine-tune operational parameters (stitch length, tension, differential feed, and presser foot pressure) for special-purpose machines before large production runs.
