• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an automotive paint mechanic or similar role in a motor workshop, with hands-on experience in surface preparation, color matching, and spray painting.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment, including knowledge of various paint types and finishing processes.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish, color accuracy, and smooth application without defects.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods and handle equipment and materials safely.
• Skill with Tools: Proficient in using paint sprayers, sanders, buffers, and other tools related to automotive paintwork, along with basic knowledge of maintenance for these tools.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to paint chemicals and equipment, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and service advisors to understand customer requirements and provide updates.
• Color Matching Skills: Skilled in mixing and matching colors to achieve an accurate, professional finish according to specifications.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Able to assess and address any issues with surface preparation, paint quality, or equipment to ensure smooth workflow and quality standards.
• Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn new painting techniques, stay updated with industry trends, and apply them to improve job performance.
