Education: - Masters/Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Minimum of 10-12 years in merchandising, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role in woven garments.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction and production processes.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team, with strong organizational and decision-making g abilities.
Negotiation Skills:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills for handling pricing budgets, and buyer communications.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .
- Technical Proficiency:

Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary:
The Merchandising Manager for Woven Garments is responsible for leading and managing the entire merchandising process, from product development to production, quality control and for on time delivery. This role involves strategic oversight of the merchandising team, direct communication with buyers and close co-ordination with suppliers and production units. The position requires expertise in woven garment manufacturing, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to meet and exceed buyer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and manage the merchandising team, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
- Provide training and development opportunities to improve team performance and skills.
- Set and monitor KPIs for team members, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Fabric & accessories sourcing, price negotiation & procurement.
- Sample follow up development, fit, PP, Top, testing
- Costing, bulk budgeting & execution.
- ERP update.
- Capacity management - forecast from customer - capacity -booking with planning capacity utilization.
- Bulk order follow up & solve ongoing issues integrally with supplier & Customer
- Bring new customers with good Prices & payment Terms.
