- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production or quality- related issues promptly.
Key Competencies:
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of garment costing & budgeting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP software.
- Understanding of quality assurance and compliance standards in garment manufacturing.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser is responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising process of woven garments from order placement to delivery. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, production teams, quality control & buyers to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and compliance with buyer specifications. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of woven garments, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabric & accessories sourcing, price negotiation & procurement.
- Sample follow up development, fit, PP, Top, testing.
- Costing, bulk budgeting & execution.
- ERP update.
- Capacity management - forecast from customer - capacity booking with planning & capacity utilization.
- Bulk order follows up & solve ongoing issues internally with supplier & Customer.
- Bring new customers with good Prices & payment Terms.
