- Must have experience in handling international buyers independently.

Job Context:
M&M Travelling Goods (BD) Ltd. is a fast-growing bag manufacturing and exporting company. We produce high-quality travel bags, backpacks, school bags, laptop bags, and related products for international and local markets. We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager with strong expertise in the Bag Industry to lead our merchandising team in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the merchandising team for smooth execution of buyer orders.
- Independently communicate with international buyers regarding product development, costing, sampling, approvals, and shipment follow-up.
- Negotiate with buyers and suppliers for best price, lead time, and quality standards.
- Prepare time & action (T&A) calendars and ensure strict implementation.
- Oversee raw material sourcing (fabrics, accessories, trims) ensuring competitive cost and required quality.
- Check and approve pre-production and production samples before buyer submission.
- Handle buyer audits, compliance issues, and export documentation.
- Monitor production status daily and proactively solve issues to ensure on-time shipment.
- Maintain excellent buyer relationships to generate repeat orders and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare merchandising reports, cost analysis, and profitability reports for management.
- Provide guidance and training to the merchandising team to enhance performance.
