Sweater Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Having experience to lead a "Merchandising team" as "Team Leader" otherwise, no need to apply.
∎ To lead 8 merchandisers as "Team Leader".
∎ Must have to maintain customer delivery dates.
∎ Able to handle several buyers/styles at a time.
∎ To corresponds with buyer & fulfill their requirement;
∎ Confirm all raw materials/trims to be in house before bulk production.
∎ To communicate with suppliers, production, buyers and other related concern department in order to get approvals and make them in house within required time frame.
∎ To follow up running orders, all approvals including samples and accessories, PP meetings, yarn status in order to start production and on time shipment.
∎ To prepare price quotations for new orders based on customer requirement.
∎ To ensure all accessories booking given timely and follow up with the supplier to get right products with required time frame.
∎ To follow up with commercial department to ensure all back to back LC for yarn and related accessories done in due time. & Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time
∎ To ensure Trim cards are prepared and send to customer for approval in due time.
∎ To monitor quality inspection report on bulk Yarn and Sweater production department to prevent any low quality products from shipment.
∎ To prepare and maintain time and action plan and execute accordingly to maintain customer delivery date.
∎ To understand and maintain individual customers policies for production, quality control and shipment.
∎ To maintain good environment and discipline in merchandising department.
∎ To perform any other task given by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication & computer skill.
∎ Must have fluent in English & able to communicate with buyers.
∎ Preferable having experience with European/ US Buyers.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure and for long time.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.
Salary: Negotiable
