Job Responsibilities:
∎ Your key responsibilities will include:
∎ Team Management: You will be responsible for managing the team of 10 staff members, including 4 Merchandisers, 2 Quality Control personnel, 1 Designer, and 3 Garment Technicians. This will involve setting performance targets, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing coaching and support to help the team achieve their objectives.
∎ Merchandising: You will take on a hands-on role in merchandising for a specific category, working closely with vendors to ensure that all products are developed to meet the quality standards set by our headquarters in Chile. This will involve receiving samples, quoting with vendors, negotiating prices, and managing the order follow-up process.
∎ Development Process Approval: You will be responsible for overseeing the development process from start to finish, ensuring that all products are developed to meet the requirements of our headquarters in Chile. This will involve working closely with the design team to ensure that all products meet the required specifications, and providing feedback and guidance to the team throughout the process.
∎ Quality Control: You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the quality standards set by our headquarters in Chile, conducting regular quality control inspections and working with the Quality Control team to ensure that any issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
∎ Vendor Management: You will be responsible for managing relationships with our vendors, ensuring that they meet our quality and delivery standards, negotiating prices, and resolving any issues that arise.
∎ Reporting: You will be responsible for providing regular reports to the headquarters in Chile, updating them on the progress of product development and order fulfillment. You will also be responsible for tracking key performance metrics for the merchandising team, and identifying areas for improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in merchandising, team management, and quality control, with a strong focus on accountability and results. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. Additionally, they should have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and be able to work under pressure. Fluent English is a must.
Salary: Negotiable
