∎ B.Sc. Textile Engineering / Apparels Manufacturing from a recognized university.
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference.
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Inventory management.

∎ 1 to 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ We are looking for dynamic talent for immediate appointment of Merchandiser position who has solid experience in factory base merchandising in 100% export oriented knit garments. You must have substantial knowledge in the following areas and must be self-driven and self-motivated to take challenge & deliver high quality results.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka, EPZ.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain all relevant merchandising communication files, reports
∎ Coordinate with factory team for proper & in time execution of
∎ production.
∎ Follow the process & procedures of buyer.
∎ Develop new samples as per buyer's standard, specification, and quality;
∎ Follow-up lab-dip development and getting approval from the buyer's end;
∎ Follow-up the preparation of style, size set, seal samples with special care;
∎ Follow up trims, accessories, documents & record keeping by ensuring
∎ proper material identification;
∎ Work with fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure orders are done as per
∎ specifications;
∎ Communicate with print/embroidery./washing suppliers to develop new
∎ designs as per buyer request
∎ Maintain required database and prepare required reports and
∎ presentation
∎ Advice factory/production/quality team on fabric, production, quality etc
∎ related technical issues
∎ Work in a team/act as an effective team member understanding
∎ company & Buyer COC.
∎ Ensure quality execution of orders up to ship the goods maintaining
∎ effective TNA.
∎ Assist the procurement team to sourcing trims/accessories as required
∎ maintaining the standard.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality
∎ standards & team performance.
∎ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
∎ Any special task/assignment as required for the position as given by the
∎ company.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English
∎ Must have good interpersonal skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working
∎ relationships with buyers and staff at all levels.
∎ Must have deep understanding of Microsoft Excel.
