∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a woven garment factory environment
∎ Strong leadership, team supervision, and decision-making capabilities
∎ Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and professional email communication
∎ Deep understanding of woven garments construction, costing, and T&A follow-up
∎ Ability to handle multiple buyers and manage several orders simultaneously
∎ Well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
∎ Capable of working independently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
∎ Knowledge of compliance protocols and buyer requirements will be a plus
∎ Experience dealing with European or American buyers preferred
∎ MUST BE FROM GARMENTS SECTION
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Team Leadership: Manage and guide the merchandising team to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Buyer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for key international buyers.
∎ Order & Production Oversight: Supervise order tracking from development to shipment.
∎ Sample Development & Approval: Ensure timely sample submission and buyer approvals.
∎ Sourcing: Finalize sourcing of fabrics and trims with optimal pricing and lead time.
∎ Production Planning: Coordinate with production, QA, and planning teams for on-time delivery.
∎ Cost & Budget Management: Prepare cost sheets, manage pricing, and profitability.
∎ Logistics & Documentation: Oversee shipping and export-related documentation.
∎ Problem Solving: Quickly address any production or quality issues.
∎ Client Relationship Management: Build long-term buyer relationships and support new business development.
