Job Purpose:
To lead and manage merchandising operations by ensuring effective buyer communication, order execution, sourcing coordination, costing, and on-time delivery while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, strengthen buyer relationships, and optimize merchandising performance in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the merchandising team to ensure smooth order execution.
Maintain communication with buyers regarding product development, costing, order status, and shipment schedules.
Monitor production timelines and coordinate with sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams.
Handle price negotiation, costing, and order confirmation with buyers.
Ensure on-time delivery and maintain buyer satisfaction.
Analyze market trends, product demand, and merchandising performance.
Prepare reports and provide updates to management.
