Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate / Masters / Bachelors -preferable in Textile
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Apart from development and leading the merchandising teams given by management to handle, overseeing daily activities, and monitoring overall performance.
∎ Understand the Merchandising calendar and must be able to do costing of all kinds of product groups both knits and woven.
∎ Need to take leadership and ownership of order handling from the time of development, order confirmation until to shipment.
∎ Understand and follow-up customer procedures, quality standards with the factory to fulfill buyer requirement.
∎ Responsibility for coordination of daily operational activities with merchandising team on deadlines for new enquires, samples development, production, and deliveries.
∎ Ensuring sourcing of new suppliers, new qualities fabric, accessories, trims, new product groups to fulfil buyer needs.
∎ Building and developing a strong supplier network, that is suited for our overall business within Bangladesh.
∎ Participate/supporting buyers for negotiating prices, ensuring right product, right price while visiting Bangladesh.
∎ Frequent interact with the internal department to ensure quality, production, and timely delivery of goods.
∎ Update critical status of delivery & capacity problem with Buyers as well as concerned Management if any.
∎ Monitor the production flow on regular basis to endure proper executions align with the production planning.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7-10 year (s) of experience in knits, woven garments merchandising
∎ Skills required, Buying house, Garments, Management, Manufacturing, Production.
∎ The application must have experience in Textile/garment industrial, in-dept product knowledge both Circular knits and Woven products [yarn quality, yarn price, knitting, dying, finishing processes etc.]
∎ Excellent English communication skills, including speaking, writing, and listening.
∎ Excellent computer skills, Microsoft office [ MS-excel, MS-word, MS-power point] data entry, workplace chat [Microsoft-teams etc.] and spreadsheets.
∎ Professional appearance, good interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
∎ Ability to work in a team
