Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor / Master Degree in Textile Technology / Merchandising / Fashion Design from a reputed university in Bangladesh with good academic tract record is preferred
∎ Skills Required: Computer skill, Merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Production and samples follow up with factories and related procedures
∎ Ensure that fabric and accessories are available in factory within the time frame
∎ Ensure smooth communications with vendors
∎ Follow up order and on time shipment of product
∎ Periodic monitoring fabric bulk orders
∎ Accomplish merchandising cycle (file / record keeping / sampling / TNAs / production follow ups / shipment booking)
∎ Preparing costing of the product
∎ Evaluate the introduction of a new supplier ensuring correct documentation and process is complete
∎ Negotiate pricing with suppliers across ranges
∎ Evaluate factory capabilities and processes in line with company and ethical requirements
∎ Evaluate the introduction of a new supplier ensuring correct documentation and process is complete
∎ Manage cross costing to evaluate and recommend the best supplier
Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure
∎ Excellent communication skills in English
∎ Good communication, presentation and organizational skill
∎ Proficient in MS office applications
∎ Able to work independently, good negotiation and planning skills
∎ Having excellent e-mail communication skill with MS office operation
∎ Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude
∎ Need to have experience in woven trouser, shirts and knit products
Salary: Negotiable
