Educational Requirements:
∎ Post Graduation in Design discipline from reputed institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ From developing design to managing the process; from conception through to final styling till production.
∎ Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration from actual trend analysis.
∎ Collaborating with the entire VIRGO's design department to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts to ensure good combination developments.
∎ Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy, marketing strategy and proper representation of VIRGO's brand image.
∎ Selecting the finest fabrics from market and trimming it to make design samples ahead of time.
∎ Getting sample approvals from management, team members. Doing weekly meetings with sales and marketing team to understand their requirement.
∎ Doing weekly market visits, understanding competitors.
∎ Implementing creative new techniques that are new to the market to engage customer demand.
∎ Collaborating with technical production team to ensure development packages are accurate for production.
∎ Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation on weekly meetings.
∎ Analysis of proper production cost to ensure the final retail price ahead of production.
∎ Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to back seasonal preparations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s) in Reputed Retail Clothing Brand.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
∎ Availability to travel for research and product development.
∎ Ability to do sketches by hand.
∎ Excellent design and conceptual skills.
∎ Excellent sense of style and color.
∎ Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
∎ Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must have good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
∎ Must have knowledge of computer and retail operating software.
∎ Must have good communication skill in both Bangla & English.
