Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 years

• Strong knowledge of BNBC, NFPA and other compliance codes.

• Experience in fire safety systems, boiler & pressure vessel compliance, and utility safety will be preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and reporting skills in both Bangla and English.

• Candidates should have basic computer skills especially in MS Office packages.

• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

• Strong knowledge in compliance audits (Accord, Alliance, RSC, buyer audits, etc.) is an advantage.

• Practical experiences on all kinds on machineries/ equipment’s/ works.

• Ensure proper design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, fire safety, and utility systems in compliance with BNBC, NFPA, and other international codes/standards.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of boilers, generators, compressors, HVAC, and fire protection systems.

• Able to allocate tasks on a periodic basis to the team members and ensure availability of resources for each individual to accomplish assigned tasks.

• Should be able to control, train and educate under command mechanical maintenance team members.

• Implementation of policies, procedures across the mechanical maintenance team with regards to preventive maintenances system and equipment’s

• Support compliance-related activities including factory audits, safety inspections, and certification processes.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure preventive and corrective actions are implemented.

• Prepare reports, documentation, and drawings related to mechanical safety and compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• All other relevant tasks as when assigned be the superior(s).
