Experience:

• MBA or Master's degree from any reputed public or private university.

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering/ Footwear Engineering/ Production Engineering or a relevant discipline will get preference.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Garments, Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

• Age 35 to 45 years

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production planning within a large export-oriented manufacturing industry.

• At least 4 years in a managerial role.

• Experience in the footwear manufacturing industry will receive strong preference.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent knowledge of production planning, capacity planning and supply chain coordination.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems and production planning software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Bangla and English.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong reporting, presentation and strategic planning capabilities.

Job Context

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented person as a “Manager” to lead our Planning Department. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing production planning strategies, optimizing capacity utilization, ensuring on-time shipment of export orders and driving continuous improvement across the planning function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning Department and develop effective production planning strategies to achieve business objectives.

• Prepare and monitor master production plans to ensure on-time delivery of export orders.

• Coordinate with Order management, Procurement, Production, Supply Chain and Commercial to ensure smooth material flow and production execution.

• Analyze production capacity, line efficiency, order forecasts and resource utilization to optimize manufacturing performance.

• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP), identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Develop manpower planning, production capacity planning and labor cost analysis.

• Ensure ERP planning accuracy and maintain planning-related KPIs.

• Prepare production, shipment and capacity utilization reports for top management.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.

• Coach, mentor and develop planning team members to build a high-performing department.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as when assigned by the management.
