Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Diploma in Medical Faculty (DMF) or an equivalent qualification recognized in Bangladesh.

• Valid BMDC Registration is mandatory.

• At least 2 years

• Age 25 to 35 years

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a manufacturing industry, preferably in a footwear, garment, textile or other export-oriented factory.

• Experience in occupational health and industrial medical services will be considered an added advantage.

Required Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of first aid, emergency response and occupational health practices.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to medical emergencies.

• Proficiency in maintaining medical documentation and reports.

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong sense of ethics, confidentiality and professional conduct.

We are looking for a qualified, dedicated, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Medical Centre and support our occupational health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care and first aid to employees during working hours.

• Assess, treat and maintain records of workplace injuries and minor illnesses.

• Assist the Factory Medical Officer/Visiting Doctor during medical consultations.

• Monitor employee health conditions and provide basic health counseling.

• Maintain medical records, treatment registers and health reports.

• Manage medicines, medical supplies and first-aid equipment, ensuring safety stock .

• Coordinate emergency medical response and arrange referrals to hospitals when necessary.

• Conduct pre-employment and periodic health screening activities.

• Support occupational health, workplace wellness, vaccination and health awareness programs.

• Ensure compliance with the Bangladesh Labor Act, Labor Rules, buyer compliance requirements and company policies.

• Perform other duties as when assigned by the superior(s) relating to employee health and medical services.
