Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
The Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational assistance for IT infrastructure, network, systems, hardware, software, and end-user services. The role ensures the availability, reliability, and smooth operation of IT services and provides timely resolution of technical issues.
Job Responsibilities:
Virtualization: Virtualization system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
NOC Operations: Monitoring and management of routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Network Security: Network authentication, firewall, SD-WAN, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) management.
VPN & Traffic Management: IPsec VPN configuration, bandwidth management, and traffic shaping.
Network Infrastructure: Router, switch, and external network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Defense Network: Network setup, configuration, and maintenance for Army, Navy, Air Force, and DGFI sites.
Server & Application: Server administration and application management, including CMHMS, MyCMH, and Telemedicine systems.
Wireless Network: Cisco and Huawei wireless network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
End-to-End Support: End-to-end network monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and incident resolution.
