Responsibilities & Context:
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in ARC Furnace.
To be responsible, accountable & oversee the Mechanical management.
To undertake schedule / preventive maintenance of machinery and installations.
To provide emergency support against operation breakdown.
To provide expert assistance for trouble shooting during breakdown.
To carry out overhauling work of different machinery and installations.
To ensure prompt response to plant operational needs.
To review and monitor maintenance contract activities.
To provide expertise and technical assistance in the procurement of spares & equipment.
To Checkup of drives, motors, and belts, check oil levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions; following checklists & reporting regularly.
To diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check repair manuals and parts catalogs.
